Hum.....I think Amish lifestyle is bad because I can't understand the Amish's rule! Why they can't use carpets? Is there any reasons? So I can' t live like Amish(ｰｰ;)

Because they want to live simply so, to live with electricity is not simple.
DeleteI can't understand living without electric appliances too, but I want to experience their lifestyle for once. If it comes true,I'll go to bed early than usual because It seem to have nothings to do at night.

maybe i cannot live in a Amish people's rule too.X( because i always use a cellphone and a computer , so it is scary for me to live without information. but i use them too much, so i think i have to experience the life without them :p however if i live without them, i will die in 3 days after XD so, only 3days is ok for me !

I think,I cannot live like a Amish because I always use many electrics appliaces,especially cellphone.I often keep in touch with many friends by E-mail,HP,and some SNS,so if I cannot use it,maybe I cannot get my mind off my cellphone. However, I envy their life a bit because I don't like cars! I want to ride a horse once:)

In my house, some pictures and flowers are displaying.
There are make my family happy.
But Amish can't keep memory as a shape.And can't feel good smell of flowers.
So I can't live as a Amish.

ReplyDeleteI think the living of Amish people is not bad so much. When I saw pictures on this blog, I felt that they look happy in the nature. I thought they really enjoy their life in the nature. But as for me, I can't live like them. I can't understand that there is no electricity at all. At least, I want them to exist a watch or a radio. Moreover, I may not be able to make fire without a lighter.
In my opinion, I can't live with them. However, I want to live only one day if I can make fire, or I can carry some portable machine.
I can't live like Amish people because I'm addicted to cellphone. I can't imagine my life without cellphone:(I think simple life is good for the earth but strict rules don't need.If there weren't funny rules,it is more comfoetable.

ReplyDeleteI like this life because we don’t need study and we have many food. I think the farm work will be very happy. I was born in city and live in city. So I have been looking forward to the farm life. If my family and my friends go there with me. I can try. Many poepile said it’s very boring. Hundreds of years ago, people didn’t have television and computer, but they are happy too. So I think the life will be not too boring.

But, Kenya said " They look happy. They enjoy having a natural life!" So I can't decide Amish is bad or good(*_*)

DeleteI agree with you. It is hard to decide if it is good or bad. Sometimes I want to runaway and live like the Amish where life is simple, but I know I will become bored quickly and want to enjoy the excitement of the big city again.

ReplyDeleteI think Amish lifestyle is bad. I couldn't live like Amish because I have too many important things in my life, such as, internet. I like Google and I love my iPhone very much. Not because I can play game on it, but because it help me connect with my good friends. I think I cannot live without electric. I need lights, refrigerator, microwave oven and so on. Keep away from Amish, keep my happiness - lol.
